So its official! As of April 6, 2012, Parlay Live has officially launched their new and very addictive social networking site.
The site, which is a uniquely perfect blend of Facebook and
MySpace, has already attracted a large, diverse crowd. The founder of
Parlay Live, Inc, is none other than social mastermind Mr. Johnny
Lambert. The 27 year old entrepreneur decided to put his dreams into
motion. On the right hand side of the homepage you can find the
inspiration behind the networking site. “As of September 2011, Johnny
had a vision of building a social website, where people of different
cultures, colors and social status would congregate and socialize...”
And in a little over six months PARLAY LIVE Inc., was born.
Each profile is equipped with the necessary tools for proper functioning. You can view and comment on photos, leave comments on each others profile page, and add new friends from around the globe. The set up of each profile is familiar, which makes it easy for newcomers to navigate and figure things out. The social site has the best of both worlds. Not only are you able to personalize your profile through a live design studio, you are also able to put a soundtrack to your page. Yes, Parlay Live has made it possible for us socialites to add music to our profiles once again. Seriously, this is a big plus. A lot of people used the music widget to upload their personal music that they created and wanted to share with the world. A certain other social site took that option away, and many were left upset.
No more kids! Parlay Live is strictly 18 and older, as they clearly state in the signup process. With that being said, they do allow nude photos, which is cool, I just hope I do not see anything I don’t want to see. The social site works great with your mobile device and an important feature they included is chat. There are private chats and group chats. Each user is able to create their own chat room and invite friends to chat.They’ve also incorporated a Ustream widget which allows you to meet and chat with the owners of Parlay Live. Another great addition is the game house, which includes all your favorites like Sudoku, Mancala, and the classic Connect Four. Video chattin’ in the Parlay Lounge, getting to speak with the founding members, and no kids...the site is definitely built for fun.
